  I have stayed here several times and most have been great. This time is a very different story. I fly into this area due to brain cancer and my doctors are at Duke, so my trips are never fun or relaxed anyway. Two months before arriving I tried to book my hotel online through their own website when I notice sky high prices and horrid web design. I obviously checked other websites and saw a very lower price. I called and seeing that I am a premium member of the hotels club I was expecting them to change my price to what I had seen on other sites and I was rudely told to just book it through priceline instead of them directly. Of course I was not welcomed like I normally am, not my fault... theirs for not matching prices. My room card expired EVERY day so with my hands full of stuff I had to go back to front desk to have them reprogram my card. The maids never once touched my room on a 3 day stay; I never had a sign on my door refusing it. I was also forced to allow 5 maintenance men in my room for over 15 minutes one night to change my TV settings over or else I would not have TV for the rest of my stay. On my last night I ordered a brownie with ice cream, the next morning I was given a receipt with someone else's credit card information on the receipt, not mine which is VERY insecure. I am done with my Cambria nights.

  Bed was comfortable, rooms were nice. Smoke free building with areas outside to smoke. Most of the staff was nice. That is the complete extent to the thing I would consider nice about this hotel stay. The free complementary shuttle is a complete joke. They look for every possible excuse not to run. In the four days we stayed here they would not run us even 4 miles down the road too a shopping center. We asked multiple time each day and there was always some excuse as to why they weren't running it.
  
  The "restaurant" is a bar with extremely limited food choices. Basically overly priced treats stuck on sticks with dipping sauce. Again, the people staffing the bar were kind, but that was the only nice thing about the in hotel eating.
  
  The room cleaning schedule was odd to say the least, and they even skipped our room one of the days.
  
  The breakfast was OK at best, but over priced. The second morning we ate there they were out of cream cheese. How the hell do you run out of cream cheese??
  
  The hot tub was nice, but only half the jets actually worked. The pool and workout were there, but did leave quite a bit to be desired. The pool was small and shallow, and the workout room had very limited equipment to chose from.
  
  All in all I gave this place two stars for the mostly nice staff, and the comfy bed. The amenities they "offer" are a complete joke. For what I spent in cab fair I could have just stayed at nicer place downtown and walked to everything. I would not recommend this place for anything other than a place to sleep that is close to the airport.
  
  Not to mention, they were running "Nancy Grace" in the bar.. I mean, seriously?

  Very bad, overpriced food. Slow service. I ordered pasta and mashed potatoes. The pasta was disgusting and completely inedible. The mashed potatoes were cold and seemed like instant potato mix with water added but not cooked.
